1th Day ARRIVAL / WARSAW:
Arrival at Warsaw airport and transfer in coach to the center of the Polish capital, which stands on the banks of the Vistula. Today it is the largest cultural, scientific and economic center of the country. Among the many interesting places you can admire: the picturesque Market Square, the Barbican, the Castle Square dominated by the Royal Castle and the Sigismund's Column - one of the major symbols of the city. In addition, the church of the Holy Cross which houses the urn with the heart of F. Chopin, the Cathedral of St. John and the Krakowskie Przedmiescie Avenue (first part of the Royal Route) along which there are several historic buildings including: the Palace of the President of the Republic, the Church of St. Anne, the University of Warsaw and others. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.

 

2nd Day WARSAW / KRAKOW:
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning dedicated to continuing the visit of Warsaw, which during its history has suffered various oppressions, especially in 1944 when after the defeat of the Warsaw Uprising, the Germans completely razed it to the ground. After the war it was faithfully rebuilt with the effort of the entire Polish people. During the visit you will see what remains of the ghetto, the Monument of the Ghetto Heroes, Umschlagplatz, the Monument of the Warsaw Uprising, Palace of Culture and Science and other places linked to recent history. Finally, a pleasant walk through the Royal Park in Lazienki, the most beautiful artistic complex built in the 18th century by order of the last Polish king Stanislaus Poniatowski. In addition to the magnificent garden there are splendid neoclassical buildings, such as the Palace on the Island (external visit) and monuments including that of the great Polish composer F. Chopin. After lunch in a restaurant, departure for Krakow, the ancient capital of Poland. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.

3rd Day KRAKOW / WIELICZKA :
Breakfast in the hotel. Morning guided tour of Krakow, which stands on the banks of the Vistula. It is an open-air museum city, registered in 1978 on the first UNESCO list. Start of the visit from Wawel Hill, which houses the most important monumental and architectural complex in Poland, therefore: the Royal Castle (the ancient residence of the Polish sovereigns), the imposing Cathedral of SS. Stanislaus and Wenceslaus, called the temple of Glory and Victory. It is the place of royal coronations and the eternal rest of Polish kings, representatives of the church, national heroes and prophets. Continuation of the visit along the Royal Route towards the Market Square where the Cloth Hall, the symbol of Krakow trade, the Town Hall Tower and the Basilica of St. Mary, with an extraordinary late Gothic altar, carved in lime wood by Veit Stoss, is located. Finally, you will see the courtyard of the Collegium Maius, the oldest Polish Athenaeum, founded in 1364. Lunch in a restaurant. Afternoon dedicated to visiting the oldest salt mine in Europe in Wieliczka. It is a unique place with chapels and caves carved in salt, some with underground lakes. The tourist trail is about 3.5 km long and winds from a depth of 64 to 135 m. The most spectacular chapel, entirely made of salt, is the one dedicated to St. Cunegonda (Kinga), which can accommodate about 500 people. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

 

4th Day KRAKOW / AUSCHWITZ – BIRKENAU / KRAKOW :
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Oświecim for a guided tour of the Auschwitz – Birkenau Memorial and Museum, the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp, founded by the Germans in 1940, during World War II. Lunch at a restaurant. Return to Krakow and short visit to the Jewish district of Kazimierz, which has preserved some monuments and synagogues related to the Jewish community that once played an essential role in the life of Krakow. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

5th Day KRAKOW / CZĘSTOCHOWA / KRAKOW :
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Czestochowa, known as the spiritual capital of Poland. Guided tour of the Pauline Monastery on the top of the Bright Mountain (Jasna Gora), where in the Chapel of the Miraculous Image there is the famous icon of the Black Madonna, which attracts thousands of faithful not only from all over Poland but from all over the world. In addition to the basilica, visit the Knights' Hall and the Arsenal. After lunch in a restaurant. Return to Krakow. Dinner and overnight stay.

 

6th Day KRAKOW / DEPARTURE :
Breakfast at the hotel. In good time, transfer to Krakow airport. END OF SERVICES
